This small ginger jar was Terry's contribution to the first set of pieces released by Moorcroft Enamels when the company was launghed.

Based on an old Moorcroft pattern this delightful vase is meticulously painted by Rachel Douglas-Ryder and numbered 97/200. The original mauve lustrecharacteristic of Hesperian ware is skillfully recreated on this pattern, which has a distinctive "Japanese" feel to the design of carp and water weeds. Priced to sell (below original retail).
